Ryan is a Managing Partner and CEO of Modern Capital Executive Solutions in Boston, MA. As a former Senior Partner of Stearns Financial Group & Regional Vice President of BFB Gallagher, he is recognized as an industry expert regarding non-qualified deferred compensation. Ryan has worked with over 200 tax-exempt organizations with updating, enhancing, and designing their supplemental executive & key leadership member retention plans. A common theme across his consulting engagements, Ryan focuses on aligning data, relationships, and circumstances to drive mutually beneficial outcomes for both the organizations and individuals in question. Ryan graduated from Tufts University in 2015 with a dual degree in Quantitative Econometrics and Entrepreneurship. At heart, Ryan is an entrepreneur that is driven by helping individuals in all aspects of his life.

Regional Vice President


John (Bernie) Winne has recently retired after a lengthy career in the credit union industry which spanned more than 40 years. He was the President and CEO at Boston Firefighters Credit Union for the past 20 years and grew that credit union from $75M to $425M in assets. He was a long-time member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Massachusetts Credit Union League and the Cooperative Credit Union Association. He has been a member of several CUNA committees including Advocacy and Consumer Compliance and Charter Enhancement. He is now entering a new phase in his professional life as a Regional Vice President with Modern Capital. In this role he will continue his dedication to the credit union industry working on issues pertaining to executive compensation and retention, prefunding employee benefits and charitable donation accounts.

Carly is a Regional Vice President of Modern Capital Executive Solutions. As a former SVP at GQR Global Markets and Regional Director and Managing Partner at Adaptive Medical Partners, Carly has been consulting in the healthcare industry for 10+ years. She has been primarily focused on partnering with C-level executives in all clinical and hospital settings to develop successful strategies to recruit physicians, nurses and executives. Carly has been a valued consultant with her clients. In addition, she adds significant value to her company through gaining strategic partnerships, building out dynamic internal teams, and streamlining costs & operational workflows. In her spare time, Carly enjoys investing in startups, traveling, yoga, and anything water related.

Dr. Jordan Josephson


Regional Vice President


Dr. Jordan S. Josephson is an internationally renowned nasal and endoscopic sinus surgeon. He specializes in nasal cosmetic and functional nasal and sinus surgery. Dr. Josephson received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the State University of New York at Albany with distinction.

His medical school training was obtained from the State University of New York at Downstate Medical School. Dr. Josephson completed his internship in general surgery and then a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He is board certified in his specialty.

Dr. Josephson completed a fellowship with Dr. David W. Kennedy in Nasal and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore. Dr. Josephson was the first fellowship trained endoscopic sinus and nasal surgeon in the United States. He was also an instructor on the faculty at the Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Presently Dr. Josephson is in private practice in Manhattan. His philosophy is to offer the highest quality of medical care to his patients through the latest in state of the art technology.

Dr. Josephson was honored to be a consultant to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. This is the Federal Government's agency responsible for medical research. At the NIH, Dr. Josephson worked closely with the Chief-Clinical Otolaryngology-NIDCD-NIH. Together they were researching new techniques for nasal and facial cosmetic reconstruction in patients with special functional and cosmetic deformities of the nose and face.

Dr. Josephson has published and presented papers at meetings internationally. He has taught hundreds of physicians the technique of endoscopic sinus surgery. He has been invited as an honorary guest lecturer around the world. He has written, published and presented papers at meetings internationally. His textbooks and chapters on the subject of endoscopic sinus surgery and facial cosmetic surgery have been published in many languages and are known around the world. He was an invited spokesman for the Lifetime Medical Television program on sinusitis with Dr. Roger Boles. He has been featured as an expert on various news segments on CBS, NBC, FOX and NY One. Dr. Josephson was an active appointee to Rhinology and Paranasal Sinus committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, the committee formed to set the standards for nasal and sinus surgery in the United States.

Lynn Weirick



Regional Vice President


Lynn Weirick began her career in Chicago as a recruiter in the data processing field. In 1989 she joined Fortune 500 telecommunications company and served in numerous roles, including Sales, District Management, and as a Regional Sales and Service Manager. After relocating to South Carolina in 1993, she established and ran a medical practice. Her community involvement led to numerous board positions and a financial consulting role for a struggling not-for-profit entity. In 1999 this developed into serving as the organization’s Financial Director, Operations Manager, and eventually Financial Development Officer, which launched several community programs. In 2003 Lynn joined her father and later succeeded him as president of the financial services company he founded in 1969. In 2012, she continued serving for profit and nonprofit organizations in financial services as she partnered with Bob Evans forming WKA Financial,LLC and a few years later Evans-Weirick Business Consulting, LLC. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Aquinas College, is a Certified Family Business Specialist from American College. Her and her husband have 5 children, love the outdoors often enjoying the beach with dogs, boating, and playing tennis and pickle ball.

Chief Investment Officer

Mark is Modern Capital's Chief Investment Officer. In this role, he supports the firm's clientele across North America, Europe, and Asia with privacy; capital preservation; growth; income; and multi-generational succession planning. He also works closely with the firm's Chief Investment Officer building investment portfolios for institutional clients such as Credit Unions, education, and hospital systems.

  • Previously, spent 17 years in private wealth management with a niche focus on alternative, non-market correlated, investments. Asset classes included operating businesses (direct investing); real estate; long only, public market; long/short hedge funds; private equity; and private credit.

  • Undergraduate degree is in Economics from Miami University (OH) and business at New York University's Stern School of Business through their Stern Advantage Program. Mark currently holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as life/health, and long-term care insurance licenses, and holds the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor® designation from the College of Financial Planning.

  • Outside of work, Mark enjoys the beach, travel, tennis, and spending time with his wife, Jennifer and son, Wynn.
